Today in the hindu metroplus i saw an item about how many buildings in vizag including andhra university and the collectorate are stone buildings. this reminded me of the time when i was deputed to escort an american professor, i dont recall his name, on his visit to andhra university. at that time some building was under construction in the university . as usual there were many workers chiselling stones into almost perferct rectangular cuboids. this being a everyday occurance and usual whenever there was construction, does not attract much attention from the locals. but the american was staring amazedly at the sight from the window of the guest house. ashok, he said to me, i think the pyramids must have been built like this.
